The 2020 Walk to end Alzheimers was at Live Oak this year. There were 35 participants, walking, riding bikes and scooters. Once again Tina Rote did an amazing job organizing the event. A delicious brunch was provided by the Varner family. To date the 2020 walk has raised $5,285.00, Donations will be accepted until December 1, 2020.
After 7 years Tina is stepping down as chairman of the Alzheimers walk. During these 7 years Live Oak has raised over $26,000.00 to help find a cure for this terrible disease. Thank you Tina for your dedication to the Alzheimers Association.
